We belong to the United Church of Christ (UCC), a major protestant denomination with 1.5 million members nationwide. The UCC is a non-creedal church -- members are simply asked to confess Jesus Christ as their Savior and commit themselves to a life in Christ.
As a UCC church we believe in:

- and advocating justice for all.
Our perspective is global and we work with, not against, people of other faiths.

Linda Morin has served as Clergy Presence for Mount Calvary Lutheran Church in
Warren, MI from 2017 until mid 2025. She now serves as pulpit supply and advocating
for Samaritas on Sunday mornings. She earned a Bachelors of Science in Finance and
Information Technology from the University of Michigan-Dearborn, a Masters of
Business Administration from Wayne State University and a Doctorate of Ministry from
Ecumenical Theological Seminary. She spent many years in banking IT before
transitioning into database consulting. In 2016, she purchased an Internet based
business, HighlandXPress.com, selling Scottish Highland Dance supplies and Scottish
goods. She is a passionate advocate for Samaritas, a social services agency that
serves those in need; serving on their Foundation Board for many years and now as an
ambassador for the organization. She is also passionate about UofM football having
season tickets for over 40 years! Go Blue! Currently is living in South Lyon with her
husband and 2 Whoodles (Wheaton Terrier/Poodle mix).
