We believe that God's call extends to more than just Sunday mornings.
We seek to extend God's loving kindness to the community throughout the year:
"to act justly, love mercy, and to walk humbly with God." - Micah 6:8
We participate in the City of Gibraltar 4th of July Parade each summer. Church members and friends meet to design a float, which is then accompanied in the parade by our banners and flags. We also throw candy to the kids and pass out flyers about supporting our outreach programs.
Our food pantry is open Tuesdays from 5:30 - 7:00 pm and Wednesdays from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm. It is staffed entirely by volunteers, and funded entirely through grants, fundraising, and donations. We support over 300 clients each month. For more information please visit https://sites.google.com/view/gibraltarfoodpantry/home.
Each fall we hold a school supplies drive for Parson Elementary School. They then distribute the donated supplies to students in need throughout the year.
Each year we "Adopt-a Classroom" and work with the teacher to provide items needed with the selected classroom. Items may include hand sanitizer, kleenex, disinfecting wipes as well as supplies needed for special projects.
The City of Gibraltar Christmas festivities usually occur the first week in December. We march in the parade and then host a cookie decorating table for the kids inside the community center.
Each Christmas season we partner with Parson Elementary School to help families in need provide gifts for their children.
