We know visiting a new church can be scary, stressful, overwhelming....
but we'd like you to know when we say everyone is welcome we mean EVERYONE!
You'll find a loving, caring, embracing, non-judgmental, and generous membership that is
dedicated to sharing God's plan through worship, fellowship, and service.
Our visitors have said:
"I came once and have been coming every week."
“We have found a home here with this congregation of open-minded, progressive thinkers who aren’t afraid to open their hearts.”
“I was looking for a place to serve… we were so warmly welcomed that we knew we were home.”
“I appreciate the feeling of family here. Their service to the community is so great that I call the church ‘small but mighty.’ It is a wonderful place of teaching, and healing.”
We look forward to seeing you and pray that someday,
you too will hear God's calling to join with us and be a part of our community on this journey!
How to Dress:
There is no dress code here! You will find most of the people in our church come in semi-casual attire. But please come as you are... jeans and t-shirt are welcome!
Lift/Handicap Access:
Our church is completely handicap accessible. Those wishing to use the lift should enter/exit through the red door on the South side of the building. Directions for operating the lift are posted inside the door. A section of the back pew has been removed to allow for wheelchair seating inside the sanctuary.
Order of Worship:
The worship service follows our on-screen bulletin in the front of the Sanctuary. The message is interactive--with questions and insights shared between pastor and congregation.
Offering/Visitor's Cards:
Contributions support our church ministry and outreach, but are not necessary or expected. Envelopes and visitor's cards are available in the pew holders. If you're a first time visitor please consider filling out a visitor's card and placing it in the offering box at the back of the sanctuary.
Sacrament of Holy Communion:
Communion is served on the first Sunday of each month and during most holiday/special services. We practice an "open communion" meaning all adult baptized Christians, regardless of affiliation, are welcome to share in this sacramental meal. Purple liquid is grape juice and white liquid is wine.
Children/Christian Education:
Children are invited to the front of the Sanctuary during the youth message, occurring approximately a third of the way through the morning worship service. After the message they are dismissed to head downstairs for Christian education where they will participate in an age-appropriate Bible lesson followed by a related activity (movie, craft, game, etc). Education concludes at the same time or shortly after the worship service, so children can join for fellowship and refreshments.
Infants/Toddlers:
The nursery (located near the sanctuary) is set up with a crib, rocker, table, games, toys and chairs. Please feel free to use the nursery as needed. It has windows, doors, and a variable volume speaker connected to the Sanctuary, so you'll be able to hear everything going on during the service. A baby changing station is located in the unisex bathroom upstairs, just outside the nursery.
After the service:
Please stick around and join us downstairs for fellowship, immediately following the morning worship service. Coffee and light refreshments are served. If you have any questions this is a great time to speak with our Pastor and members!
